Cindy Ng fostered her discerning eye for design at an early age of 16 by venturing into various creative disciplines, including origami, graphic design, and web development. At the age of 21 with a business economics degree from UC Davis, she combined her self-taught talents and founded Finger Magic, an origami design boutique based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Her designs offers a distinct departure from how origami has been traditionally presented and has transformed it into a fresh, fun, and even fashionable spin on origami. This dynamic change allows you to enjoy origami in contemporary colors, designs, mediums including: kits, jewelry, blog, parties, and now in book form.

Some of Ms. Ng's clients including the San Francisco MOMA, The Art Institute of Chicago, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
